Tras observar durante un buen rato el desarrollo de la misma, se acerca a uno con cara de tonto, que parece entendido y le pregunta: -żOiga, sabe Vd. cual es el gallo bueno ? - Si senor, el gallo bueno es el blanco. El forastero de dirige a las taquillas de las apuestas y se juega todo el dinero que lleva encima en favor del gallo blanco. Acaba la pelea con el gallo negro vencedor y el blanco muerto. Enfurecido, se va hacia el de la cara de tonto y le increpa: - żPero no me dijo Vd. que el bueno era el blanco? - Si senor, el bueno era el blanco... El negro es un asesino !.
